Cloud Architect

Overview

As a member of the professional services team you will work independently or as part of a larger team to define and implement IT solutions. You will also be called upon to provide problem determination and remediation services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales consultation to Gibraltar customers
  • Provide pre and post sales service delivery in terms of Statements of Work, Presentations, Assessments, Architecture/design, Implementation, Migration, Recommendations, Upgrades, Education, Technical documentation, Business case/TCO/ROI, etc.
  • Develop strategic direction and overall design for cloud services, including, but not limited to, transition strategies, deployment strategies, mission/vision descriptions, and positioning strategies
  • Assist in the development of practice expertise and cross training of other consultants
  • Obtain and maintain technical certifications related to role

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Must have

  • Expert knowledge in one and Advanced knowledge of at least two in the following technology areas
    • Core infrastructure, virtualization and systems
    • Cloud solutions (Public, Private, Hybrid)
    • Network and security
    • Unified Communications
    • Mobility and WAN
    • Identity management
  • MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect Certification
  • Installation, configuration and provisioning of MS Server technologies
  • Design and deployment of one or more of the predominant hypervisors – vSphere/XenServer/Hyper-V
  • Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Layer 2/3 switching/routing
  • Documentation skills – Assessment reports, Build Guides, Statements of Work

Network Security and Technical Specialist

Overview

You will work independently or as part of a larger team to implement and/or provide problem determination and remediation services related to advanced networking technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical services related to the assessment, design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and technical documentation
  • Remediate technology environments by researching, identifying, and resolving technical problems

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Access control and firewalls/Unified Threat Management (UTM) devices
  • DMZ Architecture
  • Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS/IPS) systems
  • Remote Network Access (VPN)
  • Distributed Denial of Service Prevention (DDoS)
  • Anti-Malware/Virus (AV)
  • Web Application Firewall Protection (WAF)
  • Email and Messaging Security (Hygiene)
  • Web Content Filtering
  • Technical expertise in at least two or more of these following technologies; Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, RSA, McAfee, Tripwire, Netscaler, f5, LVS, Linux
  • Experience with building, maintaining, reviewing all configs/settings/policies on chosen technologies
  • Experience with analyzing physical and logical network design documentation
  • Experience with analyzing the complete security architecture from the network to desktop and associated security controls

  • Familiarity with Open Network (SDN, NFV) concepts, goals and evolutionary track
  • Expert level experience working with industry standard switches and routers, monitoring solutions
  • Preference to those with scripting experience, preferably focused on bash, tcsh, PoweShell
  • Preference given to those with hands on experience with Citrix Netscaler and the advanced features included GSLB, Application Firewall, Access Gateway, Content Switching, Rewrite and Responder policies

Account Executive

Overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for developing a territory plan and executing on this plan to drive profitable growth within a specified cross-industry territory as well as:

  • Provide solutions to clients integrating services, software and infrastructure offerings.
  • Comfortable relating to all level of our clients.
  • Develop new sales; manage and grow the current portfolio; achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Co-ordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure customer focused solutions.

Qualifications

Senior Consultant

Overview

  • Provide post sales service delivery in terms of assessment, architecture, design, implementation, migration, recommendations, upgrades, knowledge transfer, technical documentation, training, business case/TCO creation, etc..
  • Remediate customer technology environments by researching, identifying, and resolving technical problems.
  • Work with internal and external subject matter experts to expand self-knowledge base.
  • Assist in the development of new service offerings
  • Assist in the development of practice expertise and cross training of other consultants.
  • Obtain and maintain technical certifications related to job function.

  • Design and deployment experience/knowledge for Citrix and/or VMware End User Virtualization technologies (Horizion/View Suite, XenDesktop/XenApp and associated products)
