Information Systems Specialist

Position Summary

Gibraltar Solutions is searching for an Information Systems Specialist who will oversee the analysis, maintenance, operations, and enhancement of our key information systems. In this role, you will develop strategies for optimization and identify business opportunities and risks as it relates to our information management and associated systems.

To ensure success the candidate will have a deep understanding of IT best practices, be passionate about the merging of business and IT and have practical expertise in developing and implementing solutions in the IT Services industry.


  • Analyzing current IT systems, architectures, and processes.
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, faults, and areas for development within the company’s IT framework.
  • Managing vendors/service providers responsible for operation and maintenance of all internal systems.
  • Executing plans to improve company efficiency.
  • Maintaining robust systems processes and ensuring compliance with relevant standards – SOC 2 Type 2.
  • Reporting issues, advances, opportunities, and other important information to stakeholders.
  • Advising management on weak points, avenues for improvement, and risks in the company’s IT infrastructure.
  • Strategizing with other key stakeholders on how to best align IT systems with company objectives and developing new business solutions.


  • Experience working in the IT Services Industry.
  • Experience working with NetSuite
  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT-related position.
  • Knowledge of databases, data processes, system architectures, and data security.
  • Skilled in designing, reporting, and documenting implementations, and business systems solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems.
  • Up-to-date insight into the latest developments in the information technology sphere.
  • Ability to work independently and manage external teams/vendors.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal and presentation skills.
